Jane McMillan

Jane is a Scottish Artist from the West Coast of Scotland . Her early experiences of the lochs and mountains created a deep, emotional attachment to the landscape which has become the focus for her art. The landscape provides a wealth of inspiration for Jane, allowing her to pursue her love of colour, texture and her desire to capture the atmosphere and a moment in time.

Her paintings are created using a wide variety of implements showcasing her love of mark making and texture. Jane adapts her working practise according to how she wants to portray an image and is happy to work in a range of media to create an engaging , informative piece of work.

Jane completed an HND in Art And Design at North East Scotland College in 2016 and has since exhibited and taken part in a variety of exhibitions.
